Friday

Track Open: Laguna Seca: 7:00 a.m. track opens to entrants. (Race ticket required.)

BMW Summer Concours: Central Cal Chapter's clean car contest at Rancho Cañada Golf Club (entry fee required.)

Backroads to Big Sur Tour: 10:00 a.m. Visit some of the most scenic roads in the country—160 miles of scenic adventure. Approximately Four to Five hours driving, plus time for lunch (No cost). Pre-Tour gathering at 9:15 a.m. at the Rancho Cañada Golf Club located in Carmel, California. Take Highway 1 to Carmel Valley Road (G16) and proceed East one mile. The Club's main entrance is on the right.

Friday Evening

This year experience our spectacular Banquet at the Monterey Marriott in the heart of historic downtown Monterey. Within walking distance to the RM Auction* and other exciting carweek attractions of the spectacular Monterey Peninsula. *RM Auction pre-purchased ticket required.

Parking

If you are attending the Friday banquet, here are some recommended parking options within 5-7 minutes walk of the Monterey Marriott. The hotel has limited valet parking.

Waterfront #1 (WF1) - Located between Washington Street and Fisherman's Wharf. Hourly parking with an attendant, $1.00 per half-hour or fraction thereof, $15 maximum per day, credit cards accepted. 479 Spaces.

East Custom House (ECH) Garage - Located on Washington Street between Franklin and Del Monte. Gate operated entrances, $7 flat entry fee per day, accepts coins, bills and credit cards. 590 Spaces.

West Custom House (WCH) Garage - Located on Tyler Street between Franklin and Del Monte. Hourly parking with an attendant. $10 maximum per day but expect flat-rate for the Historics weekend, credit cards accepted. 229 Spaces.

Waterfront #2 (WF2) - Located between Washington Street and Wharf #2. Metered parking, $1.50 per hour. Enforced Everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 235 Spaces. This may be 12 minutes walk.

What to Wear

The Festorics is an outdoor event that takes place at Laguna Seca Raceway at Monterey. Attire should be comfortable and convenient for walking and sitting. Styles range from dressy to resort casual. Temperatures are often cool in the morning and evening, and warm during the day, so layering is recommended.

Your event ticket must also be visible at all times. A lanyard and ticket holder will be provided to you for this purpose on the day of the event.

What to Bring

To fully enjoy your day at the Festorics, you might want to bring these items: comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a sweater or jacket, handy wipes, a camera, and a blanket or cushion for the bleachers.

Where to Eat

Catered lunch is available by pre-purchased ticket in our exclusive CCA hospitality tent above Turn Five. And of course, a multitude of foods are available at concession stands at the event.

Directions to Laguna Seca Raceway

From Highway 1: Take the Hwy 68 exit East. Travel approximately 10 miles to main entrance. Entrance will be on the left.

From Highway 101 South: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd exit (Salinas). Travel West (right turn off freeway) on Sanborn Rd to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left turn on to Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.

From Highway 101 North: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd exit (Salinas). Travel West on Sanborn Rd to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left hand turn on to Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.
